Installation paths on our playbook platform
We offer three installation routes depending on your device and preference. Android users download the APK directly from our playbook download page and install via the default package manager. iOS users access the playbook web app through Safari or any mobile browser — no App Store listing required. Web users on desktop or tablet use playbook through Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge without installation.
Android APK installation on playbook
Android users download the playbook APK file from our platform and open it with the package manager. Before installation, enable "Install from unknown sources" in your device security settings — this is a standard Android step and does not affect your phone's security. The APK is signed with our playbook certificate and verified during installation. After setup completes, the playbook app appears on your home screen. Tap it to launch, log in with your playbook credentials, and access all games and betting markets immediately.
iOS browser access to playbook
iOS users open Safari (or any mobile browser) and navigate to our playbook web platform. Once logged in, tap the Share button and select "Add to Home Screen" — this creates an app-like icon on your home screen that opens playbook in full-screen mode. The experience is nearly identical to the Android app: notifications require browser-level permission and appear as badge counts on the icon. All account features, payments, and games work the same as on Android or desktop.
Web platform access on desktop or tablet
Desktop and tablet users access playbook through any modern browser without installation. The responsive interface adapts to screen size, so live-dealer streams, sportsbook slips, and slot games display optimally on 7-inch tablets through 27-inch monitors. No plugins or downloads are required.
Setup walkthrough for playbook account creation
- Download and install: Android users download the APK from our playbook download page; iOS users open Safari, navigate to playbook, and add it to home screen; web users simply open playbook in any browser.
- Create account: Tap or click the account-creation button, enter your username, email, mobile number, and password. Accept the terms and conditions.
- Identity verification: Upload a government ID (passport, national ID card) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, government letter). Verification completes within 1–2 business days.
- Deposit and play: Once verified, deposit via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet. Your balance appears immediately, and you can access all playbook games, sportsbook, and live tables.
App versus browser: strengths of each on playbook

The playbook Android app runs on Android 7.0 and later. Devices with 512 MB RAM and 50 MB free storage are the minimum; we recommend 2 GB RAM and 200 MB storage for smooth performance during live-dealer play. The playbook web app on iOS requires iOS 12 and Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. Desktop and tablet browsers need Chrome 60+, Firefox 55+, Safari 12+, or Edge 79+. Devices with screens smaller than 4 inches (such as older smartphones) display playbook at reduced resolution but remain fully functional.
Troubleshooting common installation issues on playbook
If the playbook APK does not install on Android, check that "Install from unknown sources" is enabled in Settings > Security. Some manufacturers (Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo) use custom security settings — search your device model for exact steps. If your browser shows a warning about the playbook certificate, this is normal for self-hosted apps; the certificate is valid and secure. Do not share your playbook account credentials or APK file with others — each account is personal and linked to a verified identity. If the app crashes on launch, clear the app cache in Settings > Apps > playbook > Storage > Clear Cache and try again. For persistent issues, contact our support team through your account settings or email support.
Data, permissions, and account security on playbook
The playbook app requests camera access only when you choose to upload identity documents during verification — otherwise, no camera permission is needed. The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, or files unless you manually select them during document upload. All communication between the playbook app and our servers uses encrypted HTTPS; your login session is protected by secure cookies. We store your account credentials only in your device's secure enclave (iOS) or Android Keystore (Android), never in plaintext. Your payment method information is tokenised and does not reside on your phone — only a secure reference ID is cached. If you uninstall and reinstall the playbook app, you log in normally with your username and password; no data is lost because all activity is server-side on playbook.
Deposits, withdrawals, and account management via playbook
Both the app and web platform handle deposits and withdrawals identically. Tap the Deposit button, select your payment method (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or local payment), and enter the amount — no fees are charged by playbook. E-wallet deposits (online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment) settle within minutes; online payment and e-wallet within 2–4 hours; bank transfers within one business day. Withdrawals follow the same timeline and return your funds to the payment method on file. Account balance, transaction history, and profile settings are accessible from the account menu in the app. You can change your password, update your registered email or mobile number, and review all deposits and withdrawals without contacting support — all changes take effect immediately on playbook.
